Slip off your shoes and make yourself comfy with a blanket and a cozy chair.

We can hang out in silence, or we can talk about philosophy, identity, death, praxis, or whatever is on your mind.

This is my space and I’m inviting you into it.

A bit about me & my various pieces of internet

The great Twitter Migration started a few weeks back, and I’ve closed the account there that I had for fifteen years. Thousands of words, most of them very silly, gone from the internet. I have a hard time letting go of things I once loved, so in a way I’m glad that it became a serious enough security issue that our whole chosen family has taken down their personal accounts. I moved to Mastodon, which is a decentralized network of instances run by various people, and it feels kind of like the old Twitter days again; anyone at all could follow you, you could meet people you never forget, you can feel the breeze in your hair and the temperature is just about perfect.

I trained with INELDA as a death doula in the autumn of 2020, when we all still hoped the pandemic would end soon. (Ha ha ha ha *cryface*) I shifted my focus to writing, further educating myself on deathwork, and helping our chosen family remain strong and safe from harm.

I’m using Substack to host my writing, even though I’m naturally suspicious of a third party holding my data. My personal writing is the Infinite; specific deathwork and end of life writing and resources is Paths That Lead Home; our chosen family / intentional community has started writing at Whisperings, Writings, and Wonderings from Wayreth. You can find my death doula website at Ever On And On.

If you need me or you want to find me, I’m pretty easy to find. I’m not everywhere any more, but I’ve been online long enough to have left traces and trails.

Here’s to you, and to me, and everything that comes next.
